Honeywell LCBS Rapidzone and Network Controls
The popular zoning package will be reviewed and the components of the complete LON Based family of networked products will be demonstrated. Hands on training provided. Additional sessions also cover the XL15C generic controller.
Flame Safeguard
The basics of Flame Safe Guard will be reviewed. Fireye and Honeywell systems will be covered, looking at the types of components used. Technical service tips will show how to diagnose a system and why different scanners are used ON certain applications :
Johnson Controls Metasys
Full day sessions are scheduled for : HVACPRO (Configuration Tools), DX9100 Generic Controller, and the new M-Tools software. These sessions provide information to individuals which want full hands on experience. Additional sessions cover Database Generation for Facility Management controllers such as the N30.
Combustion Analysis
Combustion analysis is critical to maximizing efficiency and saving energy. Combustion theory and practical information will be covered. Combustion analyzers and their features will be highlighted.
Pneumatics
Pneumatics is available as a full day or half day, hands on session or an evening session. Pneumatic basics will be covered, explaining pneumatic terms and calibrating thermostats and receiver - controllers.
Motor Speed Drives
The basics of applying variable speed drives will be the focus of this session. Energy saving formulas will be discussed. Not all motor drives are created equal, find out why. HVAC specific applications will be reviewed.
DDC Basics
Digital controllers are now the norm in new applications. This session will cover the terms, applications and service tips for these devices.
Selling energy savings control strategies
Digital controls allow for the easy application of energy saving measures. In most cases new controls can be added to existing facilities which can save energy in less than one year. Find out which energy saving strategies work best for you customers.
Indoor air quality and hazardous gas protection
Mechanical Service contractors are responsible for HVAC equipment and indirectly, indoor air quality. Find out what resources are available to accurately verify good IAQ.
